Why American Manufactured Fasteners are Best

During these uncertain times, the international supply chain has been disrupted, causing significant order delays and increased downtime for projects across industries. Buying American manufactured fasteners is becoming the best solution for companies across industries to combat unwanted downtime and ensure you receive quality fasteners when you need them.

The Birmingham Fastener family of businesses is proud to have three manufacturing locations:

  • Birmingham Fastener Manufacturing
  • Houston Fastener Manufacturing
  • Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing

Each of our manufacturing locations supply reliable, quality parts that can be manufactured and delivered in a fraction of the time it would take to import from another country. With faster lead times, a large inventory, and a capable team of experts, our customers can be confident that they will receive quality American manufactured fasteners and superior service with each order.

Birmingham Fastener Manufacturing

At Birmingham Fastener Manufacturing, our operators work safely and efficiently to make products that meet all industry requirements. We take immense pride in our manufacturing facility being ISO 9001-2015 certified. Being one of the leading manufacturers in the U.S., allows us to pass along savings with stocking agreements and VMIs.

Our 300,000+ square foot facility maintains a large inventory of coil steel and round bar and has a cold forming capacity of 1,000,000+ parts per week. Our in-house tooling allows us to create speciality products. Some of our notable capabilities include:

  • Cold and hot formed bolts in simple and complex shapes. ½” – 2”
  • Unlimited fastener lengths in carbon and stainless material

Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing

Atlanta Rod and Manufacturing is new to the Birmingham Fastener family and brings incredible value and service to the table. Atlanta Rod manufactures anchor bolts from 3/8″ to 4 1/2″ diameter (and metric equivalents) in carbon and alloy. They also hot forge domestic nuts and bolts in stainless, carbon and exotic alloys.

Our operators make straight anchor bolts, bent anchor bolts, fully threaded studs, swedged bolts and headed anchor bolts to many ASTM specifications. Any anchor bolts can be expedited to meet your construction concrete pouring schedule.

“With so much happening in the world today we feel it’s as important as ever to keep the people and workforce of the US as involved as possible in any project that we can.”
- Chase Watson, Atlanta Rod Sales Manager

Houston Fastener Manufacturing

Houston Fastener Manufacturing joined our team in April 2019 and has spearheaded our efforts in the oil and gas bolting industry. Offering a full line of studs and headed products, the HFM team works hard to manufacture quality products each day.

HFM’s sales experts work tirelessly to provide immediate quotes and fast lead times. They have a 24/7 on call phone line to provide you with the products you need when you need them.

Our plant offers a variety of finishes including blue teflon, yellow cadmium, HDG, zinc, and more. HFM also offers specialized stamping, color coding, labeling, and packaging per customer requirements. Some of our notable offerings include:

  • B7/L7/B16 Studs; B7 bolts
  • B7 and L7 - modified material available
  • Stainless steel studs and bolts, B8 and B8M; also B8 and B8M Class 2 studs
  •  Cut thread hex bolts, double end, and tap end studs.
  • Studs and bolts for heavy construction: F1554 Grade 55, 105 HDG studs; Zinc plated studs

Bottom Line
