Birmingham Fasteners is still fully operational at all of our manufacturing and distribution locations due to YOUR commitment to our company and our teammates. Looking back over the first half of the year, there are many things to consider as we evaluate where our company is and how the rest of the year will shake out. One thing is certain, Birmingham Fastener has the ultimate customer base and we will continue to make that base our foundation.
Each day, we continue to safely manufacture and distribute fasteners while practicing social distancing and following CDC guidelines in all of our locations. We have a steady supply of raw material and finished goods coming into all locations and inventory levels continue to stay strong. Our sales team is making sales calls via the phone, many virtual meeting applications, and we are getting ready to make in person calls when the time is right. We greatly miss seeing our customers face-to-face but safety is always a top priority for BF.
It is a time like no other in regards to the landscape of business in America. We face the challenges of reduced time with customers and increased difficulty on many operational fronts. This makes accountability for our team more important than ever; in-turn, another of our Core Values is Accountability: We willingly accept the obligation to take responsibility for our actions. We chose to rise above the circumstances and take the ownership necessary for achieving results.
